I have completed yet another layout this week! I had a great time playing with Manda's new kit and am super excited that she's getting back into designing. I don't know what I've done without her! Here's another episode from the day we went up to Sunshine. I guess that was the day on our vacation where we got some good photos! I used Manda's template that is free today on her blog.

I've been completely busy with a two year old this summer and have not had much time to blog or scrap. However, here are two pages that I have been able to get finished. As I said in the previous post, I have been very lax in my blogging. I don't know why, I just have. So I'm trying to catch up. This post is part of one that should have gone out a while ago and part that is supposed to go out tonight (yay!).

Misty created a little summer mini that reminds me of the ocean. I love the serenity of calming blues and teals, along with the gritty texture of sand between my toes.

#64 and 65

It's been too long since I blogged. We went to Nashville this past weekend for a 3 year old's birthday party. Whew that was a crazy event. I didn't have my own camera there so I don't have anything scrapped for that, but I did three layouts (see above post for #66!) recently. The first one is Daybreak Scraps' newest mini called "Daddy Rabbit". I loved the orange pallat and knew I had the perfect photo for it! Here's what I did:

I also participated in the Funky Playground Designs Challenge which yesterday was a Tag Lift. You lift the person before you. The person after you lifts you. I of course got some crazy talented designer and this is what I came up with:

#62 - School is out for summer!!!

Today was my last day of work for a while. So, I ran some errands, went to the gym, took a nap and then picked up the girl. I thought it would be fun to go to the park, so we went and played and had a great time. We went to the mall for dinner and found this adorable pair of sunglasses. Here's what happened when we got home.

With school winding down, I felt like I would do another challenge at Funky Playground Designs. This was a scraplift. The hubby had a great photo session with the girl the yesterday so I couldn't wait to use the photos. Here's what I came up with:

I have had a HORRIBLE weekend. The hubby was feverish and sick Friday night. I ran a 5K in terrible weather (80 degrees and 90% humidity at 9am!) then I fell ill. I had a 102 fever all Sat night into Sunday. Just when I was feeling better, I slammed my foot in the door. Hubby thinks it's broken. It hurts like crazy. In between the fever breaking and me breaking my toe, I got a layout done for Misty's new kit "Lola". I love the colors! I'm a sucker for brown and pink together. I used a template from Daybreak Scraps as well.

I finally am done with my first half-marathon! I feel like I'm finally getting back to life as usual. I have really worked hard that past month and feel that I was consumed with training. It was difficult. I'm officially retired as a long distance runner now and can't wait to do some more scrapping. Here's the first layout that I have done since the race. I will be scrapping more about the race weekend, but here's my absolute favorite picture of the weekend:

Here is a layout I did for Manda's Scrappin' Creations free collab kit "Birthday Wishes". I fiddled around with it one evening and came up with this layout. My husband says it's his favorite in a while. That's saying something since he never has much to say about any of my scrapping.
